It’s been a month since we launched TibiCam.com, our platform where users can search, browse, and watch TibiCam recordings and also vote for recordings that are not yet converted and have a say in the process of converting these recordings to YouTube videos.
During this past month, we’ve converted numerous videos based on the votes cast by the platform’s users and made many improvements to the website and the process of converting TibiCam recordings. Some of these improvements include:
- Upgraded to better infrastructure, both for the website and the video converters
- Added the ability to browse recordings by topic (for example, Player Killing)
- Improved handling of votes on the website
- Improved search, which should now be both faster and more reliable
TibiCam.com has seen more use in its first month than we thought, which makes us very happy! Some statistics from this first month:
- 250 TibiCam recordings converted and uploaded as YouTube videos
- 250 unique users have voted on TibiCam recordings on TibiCam.com
- 1100 unique votes have been cast
- 50000 video views
It seems the users of TibiCam.com find player killing most interesting. The 5 most popular videos from the first month are the following:

A few weeks ago, on this blog, we published an interview with Mage Rani (TibiaReklav) on making the incredible Tibia History: Antica video series.
In the coming weeks and months, we’ll be making further improvements to the platform, mainly concerning how we value different aspects. For example, fighting a demon is more interesting than fighting a deer. We are also going to revamp how the game world is decided. Other features are also planned. Stay tuned!
